The normal ranked dinos are the most common type of dinos in the game and are the easiest to obtain. You can capture them in the different areas when moving or exploring or by opening Normal Dino Cages . A normal dino only has a max lvl of 20.
Rare normal dinos are found only in Gold Dino Cages and have a different colouring to the regular versions as well as having slightly increased stats. They are rarely used in battle but some players keep them as trophies due to their rarity,
DNA versions of all the normal dinos exist. Most, but it does not seem that all, normal DNA can be found by exploring.
Egg versions of some normal dinosaurs can be found while exploring.
